Bali to Unveil New Digital Tourism Information Hub
wbragin 14-Oct, 16:26 0 Indonesia NewsThe Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economies will launch a new digital tourism information center on October 14, 2024. This platform, called the Digital Nusantara Tourist Information Center, will help tourists find all the information they need about traveling in Indonesia, including Bali.

Currently, tourists rely on the Wonderful Indonesia website for information, but it hasn’t been updated since 2021. The new platform will make trip planning easier by providing details on attractions, accommodations, transport, and services—all accessible by scanning a barcode.
The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Indonesian government to improve digital infrastructure and make travel smoother for tourists. Recent improvements include faster immigration services at Bali’s main airport, where new autogates allow travelers to pass through in just 15-20 seconds.
Additionally, the government is working on lowering domestic flight costs by reducing taxes and cutting fuel prices, making it easier and more affordable to explore Bali and other destinations in Indonesia.
