Garuda Indonesia Slashes Bali Airfare by 45% to Boost Tourism

Good news for Bali-bound travelers! Garuda Indonesia has cut its ticket prices by up to 45%, making trips to Bali much more affordable. Tourism Minister Sandiaga Uno shared this exciting update on October 14, 2024, revealing that the price drop ranges between Rp. 1.4 to 1.6 million, bringing the cost down from Rp. 3 million. This discount applies especially during off-peak times when demand is lower.

Sandiaga emphasized the importance of connectivity in boosting tourism, as Bali accounts for 80% of Indonesia’s tourism visits. The government is now aiming for 17 million visitors nationwide in 2024, with Bali projected to attract 7 million of them. With 19 domestic routes and 33 international ones, Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport is well-connected to welcome this influx.

So, whether you're planning a beach getaway or a cultural escape, now is the perfect time to visit Bali!
